How Long Does Temu Take to Ship?
How long does it take for Temu to ship an order?
According to the Shipping policy on Temu, all orders are processed within 1-3 days and they are then dispatched from the warehouse. Deliveries that use the Standard mode of shipping will take between 7-15 days to arrive whereas Express deliveries can arrive within a week but there’s no sure shot guarantee.
You will only get to know the ETA on the arrival of your order by checking the order confirmation that was sent to your registered email and by tracking the shipment via the Temu app/website.

How does Temu’s shipping procedure work?
Well, when an order is placed on the Temu website/app, the confirmation is then forwarded to the nearest warehouse to get processed.
Next, the staff at the warehouse will accumulate all the products in your order and try having them shipped in a single package. Only if there are too many products then will they split the shipment into two or more packages and have them all sent to your registered address.
Now, all of this takes 1-3 working days but if there’s something that’s not in stock at the warehouse they will put the order on hold for a day or two until they can get their hands on the item from the manufacturer.
Temu also states that all orders will be held back until they are ready to be shipped. So, if there’s a delay in processing your order then Temu will get in touch with the buyer either via email or a phone call and inform them about the delay.
Sometimes they might even offer to have a partial order shipped to you and a second order will be set out when the missing product has been received at the warehouse.

There are two easy ways to track a Temu order, one is from within the website/app and the other is by entering the tracking number in either the FedEx, UPS or DHL tracking page depending on which carrier has your order.

- Open the Temu app on your Android/iOS device and then tap You in the footer
- Now click on the button labeled Your Orders
- Choose the order you want to track and then click on the Track Order button next to the order ID
- You will be able to see the tracking information and tracking number. You can choose to view it in the app or copy the tracking number and paste it in the carriers tracking website to view real time details
How to track your Temu order on UPS/DHL/FedEx
If you’ve booked Express shipping then your Temu order will be shipped via one of the premium carriers like FedEx, UPS or DHL. The carrier that’s selected will depend on where your delivery address is and some of these packages might require a signature upon delivery in case they contain high value items.
To track your Express shipping order,
- Start by signing into your Temu account
- Click on You (Profile icon)

What do the different shipping statuses on Temu mean?
Temu currently has 4 shipping statuses they use to show which part of the shipping process the order is in. You can refer to this section to understand what each status means.
Order Processing - Order processing is the status that shows up when Temu is currently preparing your order and they are waiting to have it packed.
Order Preparing to Ship - This status means that your order is currently in process at the warehouse and the shipment is on the way to the delivery/pickup point.
Order Shipped - Here your order has been picked up by one of the delivery partners and is currently on the way to you. It can take about 7-10 days before the status changes again.
Order Delivered - This status means that the order has reached its destination and has been delivered.
How much does Temu shipping cost?
Nearly all orders on Temu that are shipped with Standard shipping will be free for the most part. However, orders that are sent through Express shipping will cost $12.90.
There is a clause where if you place an order over $129 then shipping will be free to any location you are in. The shipping estimate will appear on the order confirmation page and you can confirm if there’s going to be a shipping charge applied to your order or not.

If your Temu order has not arrived on time then you can get in touch with the Temu support team and check the status of your order. The support team will credit $5 to your Temu wallet as a compensation and share the update with you.
