Wayne Alphonso Brady is a well-known comedian, actor, and singer.
He's a regular on the American version of the improvisational comedy television series Whose Line Is It Anyway? and he hosted the Fox game show Don't Forget the Lyrics!. He also hosted his own daytime talk show, The Wayne Brady Show.
Brady started performing in local theater and onstage at the Orlando improvisational comedy troupe SAK Comedy Lab when he was just a teen.
After high school, Brady pursued his interest in acting by enrolling at the University of Miami. Still, after graduating in 1989, he moved to Los Angeles and began taking acting more seriously.

Wayne Brady is a five-time Emmy Award winner, where his first Emmy was for his work on Whose Line?. He garnered another two Emmy Awards for his The Wayne Brady Show and two for Let's Make a Deal.
Wayne was also nominated for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance at the Grammy.
Since his first appearance on national television in 1996, Brady has appeared on many U.S. shows, one of the more notable being the sketch comedy series Kwik Witz where he often showcased his improvisational skills, other times playing partners with Frank Maciel.
Brady is also a performer of Improv and, as such, was a regular guest on the British version of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' at one point winning an Emmy for his work on the show, a feat no other than the artist has been able to duplicate since.
He went on to star in his ABC variety show in 2001, The Wayne Brady Show, which won the Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show.
In 2007 he began hosting a daytime version of The Wayne Brady Show, lasting two seasons and winning four Daytime Emmy Awards, two of which were awarded to Brady.

Brady has had two marriages.
In 1993, he married Diana Lasso, but they were divorced in 1995.
On April 3, 1999, he married dancer Mandie Taketa, and the couple had one child together: a daughter named Maile Masako Brady, who was born on February 3, 2003.
However, Wayne and Mandie separated in 2006, and Mandie filed for divorce on July 2, 2007.
It's well known that Brady suffers from clinical depression, and on his 42nd birthday, in 2014, in what was later revealed as a mental breakdown, he even cited that it was his ex-wife, Mandie, who helped him get back up.
The ex-couples currently co-parent their daughter. Mandie is already in a new love journey yet she and Wayne are still bestfriends.
Maile is now a singer who recently released a song entitled "Exhale."
Maile is also an actress who appeared in The Bold and the Beautiful.
